Katina Pinkama

In Theravada Buddhism, 'Katina Pinkama' refers to a special merit-making ceremony held at the end of the Vassa (rainy season retreat) period.

​

Katina Pinkama involves the following:

  • Offering of Robes

  • Ceremonial Activities

  • Community Participation

 

Each consecutive year, the Queensland Meditation Group (QMG) organizes this ceremony for their members and devotees.
